This is my maiden post . I am at home today having reported sick at work. Had nothing to do. Got damn bored of reading the the usual doze of blogs and articles on the internet so thought of picking up on something that has been getting delayed from my side for long. On the top of the long list of items comes this blog. I have been wanting to write about the things that i am very passionate about and bring forth my observations of how the web is evolving ( and other such rants), but have not been able to devote any time on this.
So with me having nothing to do today, i thought of kick-starting the blog with its maiden post.
I am currently interviewing with this cool web startup called MineKey. The start-up has its roots both in Silicon valley and at IIT Kharagpur (my alma mater). The start-up aims at solving the information overload problem by recommending personalized content to its end users. They recently rolled out a widget for bloggers which recommends users with personalized content based on their previous click history and their tastes. I have a lot of my friends working there and that makes it the place to be for me. In short, really looking forward to the start-up experience there at MineKey. Lets see how things work out.
